Better In Time

Sometimes I fear we won't make it through,
When the wrong doesn't make the right,
And the love doesn't know how to fight.

But we'll be better than fine, better than fine.
What we have is beautiful.
It's like wine.
It gets better in time, better in time.

Sometimes I fear I won't make it through,
When I can't see the sun or the good in today,
And all my joy has seemed to melt away.

But I'll be better than fine, better than fine.
What I have is beautiful.
It's like wine.
It gets better in time, better in time.

I'm like that rich red liquid in the delicate glass.
I'm savored, yet forever I won't last.
The longer I am contained, the longer I am tucked away,
The richer I will be someday.
So keep me in, and pour me out, keep me in and pour me out.
That's what this dining of life, is all about.
Never a day wasted, just more to be tasted.
Like wine, it will just be better in time, better in time.
